After visiting Carmel-by-the-Sea, it was only a short drive to Point Lobos State Park.
（カーメル・バイ・ザ・シーを訪れた後、ポイント・ロボス州立公園までは車ですぐだった。）
I heard that Point Lobos is called the “crown jewel” of California’s state parks―and now I understand why! 
（ポイント・ロボスは「カリフォルニア州立公園の至宝」と呼ばれてるらしいけど、今ではその理由がよくわかった！）
Point Lobos is famous for its beautiful ocean views, crystal clear water, and many kinds of wildlife.
（ポイント・ロボスは、美しい海の景色、透き通った水、そして多くの野生動物で有名。）
It’s a great place for hiking, photography, and watching sea animals.
（ハイキング、写真撮影、そして海の生き物を観察するのにぴったりな場所だよ。）
The water was so clear that I could see seaweeds and various marine life under the waters.
（水がとても透き通っているため、水中の海藻やさまざまな海の生き物が見える。）
In the tide pools, I saw many sea creatures like purple sea urchins, starfish, and little crabs. 
（潮だまりでは、ムラサキウニやヒトデ、小さなカニなどの海の生き物がたくさん！）
This was my first time seeing real sea urchins in an ocean!
（本物のウニを海で見るのは初めてだった！）
We have to be careful not to touch any sea creatures though because Point Lobos is a marine protected area.
（ただポイント・ロボスは海洋保護区なので、生き物には触れないように注意は必要。）
This means that people can’t fish or take anything from the ocean there.
（つまり、ここでは釣りをしたり、海のものを持ち帰ったりすることはダメ。）
This helps keep the sea life safe and healthy.
（これで海の生き物の安全と健康が守られる。）
I really enjoyed the peaceful vibes and natural beauty of Point Lobos.
（ポイント・ロボスの穏やかな雰囲気と自然の美しさにめっちゃ癒された。）
Next time I want to come and see the sunset here as I’m sure it will be a breathtaking view.
（次回はここで夕日を見たいな。きっと息をのむような景色だと思う。）

②「famous for」（〜で有名）

「famous for」は人や場所、物などが何で知られているのか、何で有名なのかを説明するときに使います。
「famous for」を使った例文

（イタリアは美味しいパスタとピザで有名です。）

「This means that people can’t fish or take anything from the ocean there.」
