I went on a short drive to Berkeley to see a scenic view at night.
（夜、景色を見るためにバークレーまで短いドライブに行ってきた。）
I had a long day and going on drives to see good scenery can help me de-stress. 🚗
（長い一日だったから、ドライブに行ってきれいな景色を見れるのはストレス解消になる。）
Berkeley is well-known for UC Berkeley, a historically rich and prestigious university. 🎓
（バークレーは、歴史のある名門大学「カリフォルニア大学バークレー校」でよく知られてる。）
The clock tower is an iconic landmark on Berkeley campus.
（バークレーキャンパスの時計台は有名なランドマーク。）
After a winding mountain road behind campus, I got to Grizzly Peak, which offers one of the best views in the Bay Area.
（キャンパスの裏にあるくねくねした山道を通り、グリズリーピークに到着。ここはベイエリアで最高の景色が見られる場所の一つだよ。）
This is a view from the top.
（これは山頂からの景色。）
I could see the entire San Francisco Bay, including the Golden Gate Bridge, skyscrapers from the city in the distance, and the lights from the Bay Area.
（サンフランシスコ湾全体が見渡せ、ゴールデンゲートブリッジや遠くの高層ビル、ベイエリアの街の灯りも見えたよ！）
The sky was clear, and the view seemed endless.
（空は澄んでいて、景色は果てしなく続いている感じがした。）
It was supposed to be a perfectly peaceful time. 😌
（本来なら、とても穏やかな時間になるはずだった。）
But unfortunately, there were a rowdy group of students screaming and yelling through the whole time nearby 😤
（でも残念ながら、近くに学生グループがいて、ずっと叫んだり騒いだりしてた。）
All I can say is, welcome to America – people don’t care to be respectful in public places like this. 🇺🇸🙄
（これもアメリカだな。こういう公共の場所では、周囲に気を配らない人も普通にいる。）
Especially in college towns where there are a lot of young college students around, this is not uncommon.
（特に大学生が多い大学の町では、こういうことは珍しくない。）
My peace was thoroughly disturbed so I went home after a few minutes. 😔
（平穏な時間は完全に壊されてしまい、数分で帰ることにした。）
At least, I got to see the beautiful view this time.
（今回は少なくとも、美しい景色は見ることができたからいいかな。）
But next time I really hope I can enjoy this view in peace and quiet.🙏
（でも次こそは、静かで落ち着いた気持ちでこの景色を楽しみたい。）
